Everyone is always so fast to rush out and buy space heaters during the freezing cold months. With there being so many different types out there it leaves you wondering which one is the most efficient. Ceramic models uses ceramic elements for heating. They are quite safer than the coil system heaters. The ceramic element center is bigger than the coil so it can heat the room at a lower energy in the meantime releases equivalent energy for covering wider area.
In coil space heaters, metallic coils are heated with the help of infrared wavelengths that produces heat. Another name for these heaters is fan forced heaters. It is called so because in this heater the heat of the coil is forced out into the room.
